Will Daredevil Season 2 Be a Boardwalk Empire Reunion?

With casting underway for the second season of Marvel’s Daredevil, naturally rumors start spreading on what characters are joining and who exactly they are playing. So far we had the rumor surrounding Jason Statham potentially playing Bullseye, but after him recently badmouthing the Marvel brand this will probably not come to pass. Rumors are still spreading of characters such as Elektra joining the cast and we already have a confirmation that Jon Bernthal is playing the Punisher in the upcoming season. So, the question remains who else might be a part of the next season?

Well, it seems that Latino-Review[1] once again has a potential scoop as Daredevil might turn into an unofficial Boardwalk Empire, as it seems Marvel and Netflix are trying to court Vincent Piazza for a potential role. Nowe rumors have it that he might end up playing Bullseye, a role which he seems to be quite fitting for from a visual perspective. Some rumors also potentially seeing him as a character that has ties with the Punisher and could be a mob boss.

So, while it is difficult to state what role he exactly could be playing and if the meeting will even lead to him actually playing a role. Still, one can always keep their hopes up that something comes to pass.
