Assassin's Creed Finds It's First Cast Addition
It seems that Assassin's Creed featuring Michael Fassbender and marion Cotillard is definitely happening, as we now have our first official casting news for the film. The new Alfred in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Jeremy Irons and Brendan Gleeson from Edge of Tomorrow will be joining the two actors in the upcoming video game adaptation.[1]
It is confirmed that Jeremy Irons
will be playing the father of Cotillard’s character while Gleeson is the father
of Fassbender in the film. It seems we also know that the film is being filmed
under the production title of “Time Out of Mind”, which could be a nice nod to
the plot twist the video games feature. Fassbender is officially playing Callum
Lynch, who is experiencing the life of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th
Century Spain, so it will be interesting how they adapt that element.
