Hannibal Is Ending His Reign After Three Years
It seems that even Hannibal Lector
can’t escape death forever, as sadly it was announced by NBC that the highly
critically acclaimed TV show Hannibal is ending after its third season. Do not
worry, the show will still finish airing this season, but will officially come
to a series end this year.[1]
The
executive producer Bryan Fuller gave a brief statement on the cancellation:
“NBC has
allowed us to craft a television series that no other broadcast network would
have dared, and kept us on the air for three seasons despite Cancellation Bear
Chow ratings and images that would have shredded the eyeballs of lesser
Standards & Practices enforcers. Jen Salke and her team have been fantastic
partners and creatively supportive beyond measure. HANNIBAL is finishing his
last course at NBC’s table this summer, but a hungry cannibal can always dine
again. And personally, I look forward to my next meal with NBC.”
It seems that Lecter will indeed
have his last meal this year, but there is always hope that the show could be
revived on another network, but the show has certainly proved its worth with
its three season run.

matter? Hoped the show would continue? Leave a comment below!
