Is Spider-Man Going On Vacation In 2017?
It seems that the second reboot of the Spider-Man franchise has found its writers, who will try to integrate the storyline of the character into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. None other than John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein were rumored to have entered early talks last week, but now it seems they can officially confirm their involvement in the 2017 film. During an interview with NPR, Daley stated “We can finally acknowledge that. This is the first time that we can say that we are writing it.”[1]
Goldstein added that “We’ve
been saying no comment for the last weeked.” Yet now that they can
officially talk about the character Daley said that Spider-Man: “He’s a sharp kid and witty and king of
deals with the fact that he’s an outcast and a geek through humor. It is sort
of the safety net for geeks like us, so I think we can totally realate to where
he’s coming form. AS well as the superpowers, which we also have.”
It seems the character might be in good hands, as they are
taking the fact that Spider-Man is still in high school quite serious. Furthermore,
it will be interesting to see what direction this film will go to.
What are your thoughts
on the matter? What do you think Spider-Man is going to be like?
