Tyler Bates Returning To Compose Guardians 2

While Marvel has not really given much information on any new castings for the upcoming second installment in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, which will be titled Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, it seems we at least have one definite returning element from the first film, as Collider reports that Tyler Bates will indeed return to score the upcoming films.[1]

This makes Bates the first composer since Henry Jackman to return to sore a Marvle film, which doesn’t ensure he will in fact return for the third installment. With him working on the original score and James Gunn handpicking the upcoming songs for Awesome Mix Volume 2, it will certainly be an interesting film.

Furthermore, James Gunn has pointed out that the script is pretty much done, so it will be interesting to see if we will have some casting news in the upcoming months before shooting starts for the films 2017 release slate in May.
