Marvel's Iron Fist (Finally) Finds A Showrunner!

Finally, it seems after many speculations that Marvel was reconsidering working on the Iron Fist project and that may actually be substituted by a show focusing on the Punisher. Well, it seems that after a lot of speculation we finally have confirmation that the show is indeed happening.
Marvel has just recently
published a confirmation that the upcoming fourth Marvel Studios project has a
showrunner in Scott Buck, who directed the last four seasons of Dexter, as well
as written for Six Feet Under and Rome.[1]
Jeph loeb stated that “Scott came in with a take on Iron Fist that
quite simply knocked us off our feet. We always look for the most creative
eminds in the field to help us bring our heroes to life, and with Scott we’ve
found someone that can deliver yet another great series in the ongoing story of
The Defenders.” Buck added that “I’ve
always been drawn to writing complex, intriguing characters, and that’s what
most excites me about the opportunity to bring Danny Rand and “Iron Fist” to
life with Marvel on Netflix.”
In addition, Marvel has
officially revealed the first show summary with the announcement, which goes as
follows:
“Returning to New York City after
being missing for years, Daniel Rand fights against the criminal element
corrupting New York City with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to
summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist.”
