The Boys and Y: The Last Man Being Adapted?

It seems news has gone insane over the course of the last few days, as while I was kept quite busy I have a lot to catch up with, so let us get started with the newest update. Many will know that Y: The Last Man has been in development hell for quite some time. The film project never truly was able to pick up, but it seems now that while AMC is producing an adaptation of Preacher, that they are moving forward with adapting Y: The Last Man as a TV series. It seems that that Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson are the developing producers, while Brian K. Vaughn is going to be a part of the series as a producer and writer.[1]

That isn’t all, as another comic book series might be getting an adaptation, as The Boys, which focuses on a group of CIA black ops group that are trained to elimate superheroes before they become threats. It seems that Rogen and Goldberg from the Preacher adaptation are also set to work on this series with Supernatural creator Eric Kripke also behind the project.[2]

What do you think of this? Which one are you most excited for? Leave a comment below!
