Cast Of Legends of Tomorrow Keeps Growing
It seems that the cast of CW and DC Comics’ Legends of Tomorrow is adding more and more cast members to add to the already cast heavy mini-series. It seems that they are adding one character from the comic books as well as a completely new character invented for the show to introduce Hawkman and Hawkgirl into the world before the spinoff officially takes off.
First off,
we have Peter Francis James, famous for appearing in Law & Order, as well
as The Losers, is joining the cast as a completely new character known as Dr.
Aldus Boardman, who will play an important role introducing the characters of
Hawkman and Hawkgirl. It seems he is a classics professor at St. Roch
University, who has researched the characters original incarnation Chayara and
Prince Khufu as well as their connection to Vandal Savage, the big bad for the
series. It seems he will also be
holding a dark secret that forces him to join the team on their travel trough
time.[1]
Additionally,
we have Stephanie Corneliussen, who just recently appeared in the show Mr.
Robot, playing DC Comics villainess Valentina Vostok. It seems she will have a
short arc in several episodes, who is described as a gifted and beautiful
Soviet physicists. Describing her stance on defending the “Motherland”,
certainly could hint at our heroes travelling back to the times of the UdSSR on
the search for Vandal Savage, who she also might be working on a secret weapon.
The character was known as Negative Woman in the comics, but it is unsure if
she will in fact have powers. Also, it hints at Brandon Routh’s The Atom and
Wentworth Miller’s Captain Cold trying to win her heart?[2]
