With everyone’s attention towards whatever Jessica Jones may be holding for us, it seems that Daredevil has already started filming for its second season according to the MCU Exchange. Rumors have circulated around the July date for starting the production and it seems they weren’t far off as the second season is being filmed with the codename Ringside instead of Bluff, which it had in its first season.[1]


So far the confirmations regarding the cast have been sparse as the only official returning characters are Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson) and the addition of Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal), also known as the Punisher to most. While rumors are still circulating regarding the additions of both Bullseye and Elektra this season there has been no official word from Marvel so far, but they have been good at keeping secrets well into the production of season one.


While it is still uncertain if we will see the return of Wilson Fisk in the upcoming season, but with the potential addition of Bullseye anything is possible at this point. The first season has certainly proven the quality of storytelling they are capable of, so for now all we can do is speculate.
