Seems God...I mean Lizzie and King...I mean George Have Found Their Director

Did you ever wonder what would happen if King Kong fought against Godzilla? What? There is a film that literally features them fighting each other? Let me rephrase that! Would you be interested in seeing a film featuring various monsters beating each other up, but instead of using licenses like the before-mentioned King Kong or Godzilla? Well, you may be happy to hear that the old arcade video game, Rampage, is going to be adapted. Not only that, Dwayne Johnson is going to be our leading man and the film has found its director.

Brad Peyton, who just recently directed San Andreas, has signed on to direct a script, which was written by Ryan Engle.[1] While not much is known, it does certainly seem like a perfect choice to bring the director of an apocalypse film to lead one that features a bunch of giant monsters, such as Lizzie, a lizard, Ralph, the wolf and George, the ape, who are as of now confirmed for the film.

While at first it would seem like a bizarre concept to bring a Rampage film out, but if you think about it Godzilla was quite a surprise hit so it certainly showed that there is interest for the return of American monster flicks. Who knows what else might be heading our way, as this film is slated to have a 2017 opening.

    Wow, I don't even know where to begin. Why is this even thought of as a good idea for a film? Maybe it's just me, but I have no interest in seeing this film. Having said that, I had no interest in San Andreas, and that apparently made a ton of loot. Go figure. :-)
