Agent Carter Has Found Her Antagonist?

Agent Carter has already pointed out that we will see two classic Marvel villains in its second season and with them arriving in Hollywood, or I should say Hollywoodland, it could prove to open the possibility for an interesting villain. It didn’t take too long, as we now have confirmation that classic Iron Man villain, Whitney Frost also known as Madama Masque, will be our main antagonist fort he storyline.[1]

Any fans of the comcis will notice that once again a villain is being brought into the past instead of the modern era, which was also done with the character of Dr. Faustus in the first season of Agent Carter. Her design and backstory will be adapted to the 1940s setting with the showrunners Tara Butters and Chris Dingess told in an interview with /Film: “I think we’ve changed the look of her a bit obviously. We’ve made her an actress, which is very Hedy Lamar. She was a ‘40s siren actress who was also a scientific genius, so that’s part of what we’re mining with this character.”

Furthermore, they have confirmed that the character has been cast, but no further information was given, as they aren’t allowed to say the name of the actress as of now and can only point out that the character will have an intertwined history with Carter, which may point out to her having a rival, well besides the brutal Dottie, who is yet to be confirmed.
