Game of Thrones Casting Is Underway for Season 6
It seems that casting is going full force for Game of Thrones, as in the past few days we have some exiting news regarding the upcoming season. First off, the Deadwood alum, Ian McShane, has been cast in an, as of now, unknown role. He is the first major casting for the upcoming season, but as of now they are not revealing any information regarding who exactly McShane is going to play, especially as the sixth season is difficult to pin down as most of the storylines of the last published book by George R. R. Martin have already been touched upon.[1]
That isn’t all, as Swedish actor Ingmar Bergman, who will
also appear in this years Star Wars: The Force Awakens, was officially cast as
the major role of the Three-Eyed Raven, who is a mentor to Bran Stark. While no
further information is revealed, it will be interesting to see how this will
affect Bran in the upcoming season.[2]
