The Pirates Sail The Caribbean Once More?

Disney has certainly been using its personal convention, the D23 expo, to good use, as they have now confirmed the upcoming fifth entry into the Piartes of the Caribbean franchise’s name as Dead Men Tell No Tales and in addition that two characters will indeed be reprising their roles in the upcoming film alongside Captain Jack Sparrow, who will once again be played by Johnny Depp. The rumor that Orlando Bloom would reprise his role as Will Turner has now officially been confirmed alongside Geoffrey Rush returning as Captain Barbosa.[1]

The film, which is being directed by Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg, will follow the Captain Jack Sparrow being chased down by ghost pirates once again, who are led by an old nemesis, Captain Salazar, who is played by Javier Bardem). They escaped the so-called Devil’s Triangle with the goal to kill every pirate that crosses their path and Sparrow’s only way out of this mess is finding the legendary Trident of Poseidon.
