Chris Pine Has Found His DC Role, But Not What You Think It Is!

Well, at this rate I won’t manage to get out any other articles besides news related ones, as a major casting decision was made for the DC side of cinema. A while back there were some rumors surrounding Chris Pine trying to get a role either as Steve Trevor, or, which would be a major larger role, as Hal Jordan in the upcoming Green Lantern Corp. film. Well, it seems they have come to a decision according to The Wrap.[1]

In the 2017 Wonder Woman film, which will be directed by Patty Jenkins, we will see Chris Pine oppositve Gal Gadot as Steve Trevor. Using a similar strategy to Marvel, it seems that he has signed a multi-picture deal for potential sequels and will not be a mere love interest, but actually have plenty of action.

While it is great for the actor to have landed this role, I do think it is a waste to not see his variation on Hal Jordan. Still, looking forward to whatever he will bring to the character and what chemistry he will have with our future Wonder Woman.
