Probably like most people that have watched Daredevil, I really cannot wait to see how the next installment in the Netflix-chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe would look like, which has been confirmed to be Jessica Jones. Sadly, besides the impressive cast that consists of Krysten Ritter, as the titular character, David Tennant as Kilgrave, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Rachael Talyor as Trish Walker and Carrie-Anne Moss, as a character named Harper. Yet other than that we have all been anticipating an official release date alongside a trailer for the show, with many rumors hinting that we might still see a release before the end of 2015.[1]

Well, it seems some news has finally sprong from the current Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena, where Netflix’s chief content Officer (CCO), Ted Srandos, is opening the event. For One, it seems that as soon as all four Netflix shows have been launched, they’ll start crossing over with some shows selectively having multiple seasons, which could mean that Jessica Jones might potentially only have one season until the release of The Defenders mini-series.

The most interesting part, is that he states that “ideally every six months, you’ll get a new season or series from The Defenders”, which could mean that Luke Cage might take longer as Daredevil is currently in production, so it could hint at the show taking over Jessica Jones place. Furthermore this also alludes to the fact that with Daredevil being released in April of 2015, we could potentially see Jessica Jones arrive in Oktober of this year. Sadly, there was still no exact release date given, but Deadline also believes it will arrive sometime this year.[2]
