Is A Booster Gold/Blue Beetle Buddy Film In The Works??

Remember that planned Booster Gold series for SyFy and the fact that Brandon Routh’s character was originally planned to be Blue Beetle, whose Kord Industries were constantly teased throughout the show? Well, we might finally have the reason why this fact never managed to work out on the TV-side of the DC Comics media plan, as it seems a Booster Gold and Blue Beetle team-up movie is being planned.[1]

That isn’t all, as it is desrbied to be a “superhero buddy cop movie”; which is quite fitting for these very distinct characters, who share a long history together in the comics. “The dynamic duo are also member sof the Justice League and are being planted now to appear in a future JL movie down the road.”

The film is rumored to be directed and executive produced by Greg Berlanti, who also has a story credit to the upcoming Green Lantern and The Flash films. It certainly seems like an interesting choice, as it was heavily rumored that we could see this characters appear in one way or another, but a buddy cop type film would be quite an interesting mix up in the franchise.
