Luke Cage To Cameo Iron Fist And...Spider-Man?

Luke Cage has started production under the name “Tiara” and after a plethora of casting announcements. It seemed only a question of time until the rumor mill will kick-start. As always with such rumors take it with a grain of salt, as the news also comes from Reddit, which one would not describe as a reliable source for information? Still, it is quite interesting to read and could hold many potential things that we will see in the third Marvel Netflix series and maybe even some information regarding the upcoming The Defenders mini-series.[1]

First off, it seems that Madame Gao is back from her travels making New York City into a drug-invested city once again. This time she seems to be using a Chinese restaurant as a front, which will be titled Genghis Connie’s.

It also seems that there is a high potential that we could be seeing Iron Fist appear in the show, which makes sense, as he and Luke Cage worked together as the Heroes for Hire in the comics. It also seems that the Defenders will be split apart from each other, taking place in different parts of the city. As we know, Daredevil took place in Hell’s Kitchen and Luke Cage is in Harlem. It seems Jessica Jones takes part in Downtown while Iron Fist could potentially be in Queens.

Outside of the already confirmed franchises, it seems there is the potential for The Punisher to also receive his own show if the reception for the character as he will be appearing in the second season of Daredevil. Furthermore, it seems there is a possibility we could see Spider-Man making a cameo or having a crossover sometime soon. Considering his stomping grounds is New York City, it could be a possibility for him to join the Defenders as a tie-in to his upcoming film in 2017.
