While some are surprised to hear that Genyo Takeda, the mastermind behind the Nintendo Wii console, wasn’t elected, Kimishima was Nintendo of America’s president for four years from 2002 to 2006 until he was succeeded by Reggie Fils-Aime. With a background as the Chief Financial Officer of the Pokemon Company and even was the president of the US division of the company.
