The animated show Vixen that aims to add to the expanding CW-DC Universe has recently been renewed for a second season that will once again stream on CW Seed. That isn’t all though, as it seems that there are some more plans in store for Vixen and the actress portraying her Megalyn Echikunwoke.

According to Mark Pedowitz, the CW president, once stated that they have reached their maximum with DC adaptations with the upcoming release of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow yet it seems they might have had a change of heart. He recently stated in response to a question if Vixen might ever see a live-action adaptation: “Hopefully, that character could actually spin itself out, if not, maybe join as one of the Legends.”[1]

This could certainly prove to be an interesting development that one day we could see CW filled with a variety of shows from DC properties, as many are still clamoring for a Constantine revival on CW especially after he had appeared on a recent episode on Arrow.
