It seems that NBC has already planned out Heroes Reborn, a continuation of the controversial Heroes series, only to be one single additional season according to Bob Greenplat, the NBC network chairman.

While some wonder if this is due to ratings or the quality of the “reboot”, the chairman stated that “That was always the plan, unless Tim [Kring] woke up one day and said ‘Oh, I have another chapter to tell.’ But I think we’re coming to the end of the world, maybe. Stay tuned.”[1]

The season will end on January 21^st, but this could now be the official series finale and it will be interesting to see if the show might be reborn again due to Kring having a new idea to continue this story. Still, the show even receiving a reboot was a miracle so at this point anything can happen.
